The day started with another meeting.  We had found a hotel the night before near where we were meeting for breakfast.  That allowed Bryan and I to get up and head to the meeting while the kids continued to sleep.  They then got up, showered and dressed and ate breakfast down in the lobby while we were gone so it worked out perfect for us all.  The meeting went well.  It is fun to meet different people from across the country and hear about their different stories. Everyone is always so nice.  We told Stan we were heading to Chattagnooga for the day and he said his wife and kids were there playing.  We actually got to meet up with them and introduce ourselves.  After our meeting we went and picked up the kids and we were off for the hour and a half drive to Chattanooga.  I love how our kids are now so warped that when they ask how long a drive is and we say something like 3 or 5 hours.  They all say, OK. That's not bad at all.  I guess everything in life is relative.
Our friend Rich Harris and his son Christian drove up and met us there for the afternoon.  We grabbed lunch at  a place called Big River.  The best thing about this place was that it was connected to a pool hall and the kids all played pool together while the adults talked before the food arrived.  After lunch we walked through downtown and went to an area of steps leading to the river that has water running over them and kids all splash and play there.  We walked across the bridge over to a park and then back into town.  We drove up to Lookout Mountain where there were beautiful homes and a gorgeous view of the valley.  There is a civil war fort there that we went through.  The weather was perfect and the view was amazing.  Of course we couldn't leave town until we had gone to the Chattanooga Choo Choo and seen the train and had an ice cream cone.
After that we loaded up and Bryan and Rich drove the 1 1/2 hour drive in Rich's car while Kristin and the kids sang music at the top of their lungs and talked with Christian.  We grabbed a quick dinner (since it was already 10 pm) (once again.....NOT Taco Bell--sorry James/ and not Chick-fil-a sorry Annie).  But the burger and fries were great at he Steak and shake and then we all settled into beds at Rich's house.
